Privacy Policy

Plateau is a strength-training log. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and who else can see it. It is short because the app does comparatively little with your data.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address and an account identifier, handled by Google Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive whatever that provider passes on — normally an email address, or Apple’s relay address if you chose to hide yours.
• Your workouts. Exercises, sets, weights, repetitions, notes, templates and workout history.
• Subscription status. Whether a Pro subscription is active, managed through RevenueCat. We never see your card details; those stay with Apple or Google.

Where your workouts live

Your training data is stored in a database on your own device and is not uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes that data. Cloud Backup & Sync is an optional Pro feature; if and when you turn it on, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is transmitted, before it transmits anything.

What we do not do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or behavioural tracking SDK is present in the app.
• We do not sell or rent personal data. There is nobody to sell it to who we would want to do business with.

Who processes data on our behalf

• Google Firebase — authentication, and delivery of the exercise animation files. Requests for animations reach Google’s servers.
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlement state.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and subscription management.

Your rights

You can delete your account from within the app, which removes your authentication record and the workout data held on the device. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR additionally gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to us and we will act on it.

Children

Plateau is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the app will tell you before the new version takes effect.
