Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Plateau mobile application. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Plateau on devices you own or control. You may not resell it, reverse-engineer it, or strip out its notices.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, at the rate of the plan you chose.
• You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue them directly.
• Prices may change. Any change is announced in advance and never applies to a period you have already paid for.

The free plan

Workout logging, workout history and templates are provided free of charge, without a usage cap. We intend to keep it that way. Should that ever have to change, existing data stays readable.

Not medical advice

Plateau records training and calculates statistics from it. It is not medical or coaching advice, and estimates such as a one-rep max are arithmetic, not a recommendation to attempt that lift. Training with weights carries risk of injury. Consult a qualified professional and use your judgement.

Your content

Your workout data is yours. We claim no ownership of it.

Availability and warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Plateau and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or breaches these terms.
